This is our home.

Between Speicherstadt and Hafencity you´ll find the Oberhafen, Hamburg's creative and cultural quarter. The Hobenköök  is located in the midst of old brick halls, creatively-used industrial facilities and urban gardens and comes with a restaurant and market hall covering 800sqm. Our restaurant can seat up to 150 guests. In Spring and Summer, 40 more guests can be comfortably seated on the terrace outside the Hobenköök.

Where does our beef come from?

From the unique Waldhof Zydek! Taken over in spring 2018 by Nils, Elena and their three children Matilda, Emma and Abbe, as well as farm dog Molly, Waldhof is not just a dairy farm, but a place that embodies organic farming and sustainable agriculture. What

makes Waldhof Zydek so special is not just the fact that they milk 45 cows on their pasture and are committed to preserving the Red and White Dual Purpose. It is their holistic approach to animal husbandry and farming. All calves, including the males, are lovingly reared and fattened as steers on conservation land. The 25 white-horned Heidschnucken ewes graze the farm's meadows and pastures all year round. A harmonious coexistence of humans, animals and nature.
