Menu Gut Karlshöhe
Welcome to the Hobenköök at Gut Karlshöhe!
We serve the GOOD stuff here. To keep it that way, we dig for the culinary nuggets of the region, refine our menu and work on consistent sustainability. And you can support this with your contribution, many thanks.

NAPKINS MADE FROM ORGANIC COTTON
You and we have been bothered by our paper napkins for some time, because they are waste that can be avoided. We searched for a long time and found organic cotton napkins that are produced in Europe and have a seal of approval. As the costs are almost 10 times higher than for standard napkins, we have decided to charge a small sustainability fee of €0.40 per guest.

Sustainability contribution
Our project stands for pure food, holistic processing and future concepts cooked and presented in a surprising way.
We are always trying to develop further, also through your feedback. We are therefore delighted to be able to present two points to you here:
WATER
we no longer transport water across the country and continue to donate to Viva con Agua for every carafe drunk. Together with Viva con Agua, we have had glass carafes produced in a glassworks in Thuringia and only serve water from these. Bottled water is no longer lugged around, so the CO2 footprint is reduced to almost zero.
