The over 100-year-old waterworks in Wilhelmsburg was decommissioned in 2008 and converted into a spectacular location as part of the 2013 International Garden Show. The machine hall is a gem of industrial architecture. Built in 1911, the white plastered cube structure with its high mullioned windows and hipped roof is ideally integrated into the Inselpark.
